This week seems more quiet than usual. Still there were some nice articles.
News
- Bloomberg reports on new possible restrictions for supply chain disruption insurance. “Insurers and reinsurers may limit the coverage they offer for supply-chain disruptions and negotiate higher prices after record claims from natural disasters in Japan and Thailand”. (Bloomberg)
Blogs
- The Risk Management Monitor discusses possible supply chain risks which might affect supply chains involving China. (RMM)
- The Supply Chain Risk Insights site talks about “Best Practices for Tackling Supply Chain Risk”. (SC Risk Insights)
While you’re at it, also have a look at:
- My article on Monday, which combined the aspects of supply chain management and finance.
- And on Wednesday I wrote about: Exception Handling for Robust Supply Chain Design.
Enjoy the weekend!
